What is AGA?

The A.G.A. Certification program helps assist consumers, local safety authorities, contractors and others to identify product models that comply with national safety standards. Appliance and related accessory manufacturers selling products in both the U.S. and Canada can obtain both A.G.A. and C.G.A. certifications via a single test program conducted by International Approval Services (IAS), a joint venture of A.G.A. and Canadian Gas Association (CGA) Approvals, Inc. Currently, CGA certified models are listed separately in the CGA Directory of Certified Appliances and Accessories.
