Impressive Labels upgrades to ISO 9001:2000 certification!
 
Since July, 1999, Impressive Labels has been an ISO
certified company. In December, 2003, Impressive became
one of the select companies to be upgraded to ISO 9001:2000
certification which is considered an international
standard of excellence in documented quality systems.
Two of the primary purposes of ISO 9001:2000 certification
is to continuously improve processes and to consistently
enhance customer satisfaction.
The International Organization for Standardization is a
worldwide federation of national standards bodies from
approximately 150 countries. The International
Organization for Standardization is a non-governmental
organization established in 1947 to promote the
development of standardization and related activities in
the world with a view to facilitating the international
exchange of goods and services, and to developing
cooperation in the spheres of intellectual, scientific,
technological and economic activity.
ISO standards are documented agreements containing
technical specifications or other precise criteria to be
used consistently as rules, guidelines, or definitions of
characteristics, to ensure that materials, products,
processes and services are fit for their purpose.
ISO certification is available through several certifying
agencies. Impressive received its certification through
Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
