Georges Scherlizin will assume the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of Impressive Labels. Scherlizin comes to Impressive Labels from Corporate Express, a $5 billion multinational company specializing in business forms and label printing. He was Vice President for Manufacturing and Logistics for the Document and Print Management Division of Corporate Express. Prior to that, Scherlizin was Vice President of Manufacturing for Porter Chadburn Label Group. He holds an MBA in electro-mechanical engineering.

Tim Taylor has been promoted to Vice President of Sales for Impressive Labels. Taylor has a long tenure with Impressive, having started with the company when it was Hytech Identification Products (the predecessor company to Impressive). He has held a variety of progressively responsible positions at Impressive, demonstrating sales and promotion ability as well as operations expertise. Most recently he led the company through ISO 9002 certification. Taylor has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration an is a certified ISO Lead Assessor.

Larry Malmos recently returned to Impressive Labels after a two-year hiatus as Vice President of Manufacturing with another label company. Malmos’ association with Doug Riley goes back to his teen years when Doug hired him to work at his original label company, Lancer Label. Malmos assumed progressively responsible positions at Lancer, working up to Supervisor of three shifts in 1996, when he moved to Impressive Labels. As Production Manager of Impressive Labels, Malmos will have full responsibility for scheduling and producing all the high-end products at Impressive Labels. “The specialty printing and identification products industry in particular is entering one of the most dynamic eras in its history,” commented Doug Riley. “That is why it is essential to have a proven and progressive team in place with the expertise and leadership necessary to navigate Impressive through the changes. At the same time, we want to ensure that we maintain the company’s leadership position in custom-engineered products while keeping customer and dealer needs in focus.”
