Labels Meet the Most Demanding Requirements

Challenge:

Paganini approached Impressive Labels about matching this
Viansa winery label to a previously printed 4/color sheet
sample. There were two challenges with the label, both of
which were critical to the client's branding. The first was
the requirement for an exact placement of the hot stamped
"V" which was a crucial logo element on the
primary label. The second was the necessity for a vibrant
red on the label (another branding element) that did not
degrade the color on the halftone.
The Solution:
Heather
Cochran, Impressive Sales/Service Representative built
additional time into the printing process for careful
proofing and checks for the client. The first step was to
assure that the film output was at the proper line screen to
hold the halftone and still deliver the vibrancy of the red
required. The job was run on the Shiki which allows for
4/color printing and hot foil stamping in one pass,
minimizing chances for the placement of the hot stamped
"V" to slip. The result was a beautiful label
which matches the original paper proof perfectly.
